Café Karvana, Berlin-Friedrichshain (Phase 1-4)



were planned renovation and repair of a shop into a café. Location: Gabriel-Max-Str.4, Near Boxhagener Platz, Berlin-Friedrichshain. It was made very small construction projects, the design should behave "minimally invasive" to the stock. The floor was a cement seal, the walls a coat of paint. Only in the plumbing and walls were pulled agebrochen new walls. Main component of this work was in addition to a programmatic study and the determination of the spatial surfaces of the draft of the complete furniture: tables, stools, bench with back-lit wall panels, counters and cabinets, shelving area for the issue of retail products. All Furniture were from film coated plywood panels produced at low cost. The color design envisaged the use of sound sequences between brown and beige, and yellow as an accent color.
